It can be challenging to take the first step in coming to therapy. However, we are glad you’re here and happy to offer support. As a compassion-focused therapist, my main goal is to help clients develop self-compassion. We can be our own worst critics at times, and I hope to provide a safe space for clients to be their authentic selves and to cultivate true self-acceptance and self-esteem. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults, working alongside clients to make treatment helpful and also fun and enjoyable. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I also enjoy integrating art and music in therapy, as creative expression can be a great way to process challenging thoughts and emotions for all ages. I also utilize mindfulness and meditation practices to help clients facing anxiety, stress, depression, anger, grief and loss.
